Adding the "and more"

I haven't written in a very long time. Not that I don't want to but I'm trying to understand the whole blog world. I guess I just think, really, who's going to want to read about just jewelry? So I decided to change the name of my blog, or really do an add on, and include the "more". My interests are so much more than just jewelry so I wanted to make room to talk about other stuff as well.

Hopefully, I will have something to post daily. It may be about nothing and maybe some days I might even have something interesting to say.

Here's to 2013 the year of blogging.

See you soon!

Playing Catch Up

Since the holidays are over I've been trying to play catch up.  Just this past Sunday I finally forced myself to take some time out to pack away my Christmas decorations.  December is such a crazy month.  It starts off with my son's birthday on the 2nd and then the craziness just continues on from there and it extends well into the new year.  January is my month to re-group and try to start the year off with the right momentum that I hope to carry out for the rest of the year.  I start thinking about how I'm going to get my life organized.  What I'm going to do better this year over last year.  I start eating healthier and working out and hope and pray I will start to see results sooner than later.

In saying all that, today was a day to just slow down and take care of my baby since he's not feeling well and myself because I'm feeling a bit under the weather too.

After checking my emails I was pleasantly surprised (and always amazed how this whole internet and cyber stuff works) a Canadian blog included a pair of my earrings in their post.  You can read the whole post at  http://delightfuldivasinbusiness.blogspot.com/ .  Thank you Ladies for including me in your blog post :0)

It makes me happy that people are able to find me and they like what they see.  The earrings can be purchased on my etsy site http://www.loritrenton.etsy.com/ and also at Periwinkle on Bloor (in the Bloor West Village)

Have a great night!

ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST

Recently added to Etsy is my new Bohemian Ring. Fun and whimsical, the ring's center is green glass that very closely resembles an emerald. The Bohemian Ring will compliment any casual outfit!

OH MY!

It goes without saying that I am happiest when I am most busy.....at least that's what I keep telling myself.

These last few  weeks have been crazy!!!! Besides taking care of my family, I have been on work-overload to produce more jewelry pieces. Most notably, my very own Cougar Town-designed necklace (that's right, the replica necklace that Courtney Cox wears in her television show) has been selling like hot cakes.

I have more designs in the works and more pictures to take, so hang in there my dear friends! But in case you've missed Cougar Town, here's a view of the very popular necklace.

THE BEGINNING

Hi lovelies! Welcome to my first blog. I'm happy to share my jewelry with you, as well as upcoming news and events that my pieces will be featured in.

lori Trenton jewelry is made up of two collections: Sweet Pea and Beba. I named both of these collections after my son, Noah. When Noah was a baby, I called him “sweetpea" and as he grew older, I started calling him “beba” - which means baby in Greek.

Sweet Pea

More for a "day" look, my Sweet Pea collections are fun, colorful and whimsical! Pieces range from bold to simple. Here's a sample that can be found on http://www.loritrenton.etsy.com

Beba

Elegant and classy, these collections are made for standing out. They add that extra sparkle to any outfit. Visit here for a view of my Beba collection http://www.loritrenton.etsy.com
